Shane McMahon wears a fresh new pair of Jordan's every Monday Night on RAW. |
The Deadman rose in time to move himself off of the announce table, and Shane came crashing down and destroyed it with his entire body in front of his family...and the arena exploded. That announce table will never report live again. Moreover, Shane showed total disregard for his body that night, which he worked out for weeks leading up to his match with the Undertaker. People at home scrambled to grab their smart phones and tablets to tweet and Snapchat their reactions to Shane's death-defying missed kill shot. Shane ended up losing his match against the Undertaker, and therefore lost his bet with Vince, that should Shane beat the Undertaker at WrestleMania 32, he be appointed General Manager of RAW, a job which Shane intentionally came back to the WWE for, after being removed from the company for over a decade. I guess Vince had a change of heart after watching his son in action at WrestleMania 32, because the next night on RAW Vince gave Shane the opportunity to run RAW for one night.
7 weeks later and Shane is still running RAW. He's had to get along with Stephanie since accepting the role, and I feel that working together has not only improved their relationship, but The Authority as a whole. RAW as a product has notably improved, and I think that Shane's presence has contributed to the overall success of RAW in it's present state. Here are a few of the reasons why RAW rules now that Shane-O-Mac is back.
Shane has scheduled an "Extreme Rules match" between A.J. Styles and Roman Reigns for Reigns' WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules. I've heard Reigns booed out of arenas all across the U.S.A. for weeks since he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 32. However, over the past few weeks I've heard those boos quiet down and even cease at times during his matches on RAW. I believe part of the reason is due to Shane having Reigns team with fan favorites, The Usos the past couple of weeks on RAW to take on A.J. Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows of the Bullet Club. These matches have completely RULED.
Kevin Owens, Sami Zahn, and Cesaro have been scheduled by Shane-O-Mac to face current Intercontinental Champion, the Miz in a "Fatal 4-Way match" set to take place at Extreme Rules. Watching these 4 Superstars go at it with each other over the past few weeks on RAW has resulted in some gripping television that has totally RULED the air waves on Monday nights.
Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose will face off in the first-ever "Asylum match" at Extreme Rules for Dean's "Ambrose Asylum" TV Show, which took the place of Jericho's "The Highlight Reel" TV Show time slot. Ever since Shane gave Ambrose Jericho's The Highlight Reel TV Show time slot the two Superstars have been feuding. Jericho is hysterical on the mic since he holds no punches, always calling Ambrose and the fans "stupid idiots." Another thing Shane did was give Ambrose the option to choose the type of match that they will compete in. Hence, the first ever Asylum match, which consists of a steel cage, mass weapons of violence, and of course no RULES.
Last but not least John Cena returns to RAW in 2 weeks, and i'll say it again...RAW rules now that Shane-O-Mac is back!
