Tag Team Championship Match: The New Age Outlaws defeat The Rhoades Brothers: Cody & Goldust for the tag team titles. They also cut a slick and hugely entertaining promo between the World Heavyweight Championship Match & The 2014 Annual Royal Rumble.
Bray Wyatt defeats Daniel Bryant:
This match will be considered one of the best PPV matches of 2014 in the DVD next year. What did I say?! The Wyatt Family is going over in 2014... Bray Wyatt is first over in the family. Count it!!! Shortly stated; it's because fans love Daniel Bryant. I applaud these two athletes, they both put on an epic show tonight.
Interesting fact I learned this evening; Bray Wyatt is a second generation superstar at the WWE. He is the son of former WWF superstar IRS: Mike Rotunda. Mike Rotunda wrestled Varsity at Syracuse University before entering the WWF. Rotunda's real-life brother-in-law is Barry Windham (once member of the tremendous wrestling faction of the NWA & WCW: The 4 Horsemen) - Bray Wyatt's uncle. Barry Windham too is a second generation superstar.
Brock Lesnar defeats Big Show:
Brock drops The Big Show with his F-5 Finisher. WOW, never have I ever seen such a test of strength! Paul Heyman was in Brock's corner for this match. Brock pins Show. Paul encourages "No Mercy" to Brock as he begins orchestrating a violent melody with roughly 30 hard hitting steal chair shots all over the Big Show. The crowd is dead silent for a Wrestling match and it's hard to watch. He annihilates three steal chairs as The Big Show's eyes roll to the back of his head. Brock tosses a ref... more refs come to the ring's aid. Paul persuades Brock to take his W and move on... the Big Show will need medical attention tonight. So will Daniel Bryant.
The Shield's vignette on drawing numbers in the Royal Rumble was classic.
A message from The Unified WWE Champion Randy Orton... the current face of the WWE.
REMATCH: Randy Orton defeats John Cena:
World Heavyweight Championship Match
The crowd chants everything in the book during this match. The two top seeds in the WWE seem to be feeding off of the crowd's energy... Cena trys a new move to finish Orton. Flying Leg Drop off of the top rope delivered to the back of Randy's neck. His efforts are to no avail. Orton trys Cena's two main finishing moves on Cena to win it... Cena turns the STFU around, and then evades his patented attitude adjustment (From Orton). Now Cena flips it on Randy and Orton evades Cena's RKO (Randy Orton's finisher). Cena hits Orton with a spinning DDT from the second turnbuckle and rolls him up into his finisher: The STFU! Orton screams, crawls and gasps to grab the bottom rope (if Orton reaches it the rules state that Cena would have to break the hold). Cena drags Orton back to the middle of the ring and puts the hold back on! He is going to win this! The Wyatt Family's disturbing intro begins, and Orton hits Cena with a surprise and precise RKO after the darkness... He pins Cena for the 1-2-3. Randy Orton does not stick around to celebrate. Bray Wyatt continues with finishing off Cena as his two brothers powerfully enforce. Bray Wyatt's signature finisher is called Sister Abigail. It is demonic and devastating.
