Money in the Bank (2015) is the WWE’s sixth annual pay-per-view (PPV) event of its kind. It will be available to new subscribers for free on the WWE Network in over 140 countries. Money in the Bank (MITB) will take place Sunday, June 15, 2015 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. This is the first WWE PPV to take place in Columbus, Ohio since 2004. Money in the Bank originated during WrestleMania XXI in a ladder match that took place in 2005. The concept behind the main event for this PPV is that the first WWE Superstar to grab the briefcase (pictured above) hanging from the rafters wins a contract guaranteeing that Superstar a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship anytime they decide within the following 12 months.
